Current Circumstances

We already know that transgender people are rarely treated well in our society. They keep being mocked, bullied, or even killed without any exact reason since they are transgender people. I frequently wonder the reason they keep being treated unwell since they are transgender people, the embedded query inside my head will always be

“Why can’t they see transgender people as a part of human along with the human rights?”.

I exemplify the kind of threats that they received from society beneath this sentence:

They Are Also Entitled to Human Rights

Before going further explanation, we better know the term of human rights first in order to have a better understanding. (1) Human right (Cranston, 1973:36) is a universal right that every human being belongs to without any shortages, something simple that is given to for a simple reason, they are human. (2) Human rights are those rights that are necessary in order for us to live as human beings. Human rights give us dignity and equality. Human rights ensure that we all have adequate access to basic needs such as food and shelter. Human rights protect us from violence and abuse and work against ignorance and hatred. It’s simply understood without giving another explanation to grasp what human right is.

After knowing the definition of human right, I will let you know the definition of transgender itself before we go further:

By explaining above, we could go further to the relation between transgender people to their rights as a human being. Transgender people frequently are seen as something different than any common human beings, therefore they are treated unwell. I keep wondering this concern, moreover, during doing this writing, I have searched many sources to found what the difference that distinguishes transgender people from the common human. I ended up founding nothing and I think it’s obvious when they are born as a human being, no matter what choices they will decide in the future, they will keep being human along with their rights. What rights do I mean? I constitute “their rights” as a right to be protected, to be treated well, to be embraced, to be human, as simple it is, without demanding more than the original rights of humans.

We don’t have to think all the way about what gender is right and what gender should be cherished and another shouldn’t be. We could set aside that dizziness since here, I would like to emphasize the importance of embracing them since they are human. When we believe their existence as a part of human being, we don’t have to deep down think what gender that suits righteousness. The righteousness is when you believe humans should be attached to their rights, likewise how we treat the transgender people, cherish them as human, isn’t it arguably simple?

My Deep Down Closing Statement

Be kind.

The reasons:

  1. You will never be blamed for being kind.
  2. If you are afraid being kind will threaten your wealth, I need to let you know that being kind costs $0.
